If you’re coming from far away or have never been to Norfolk before, you’re in for a treat! Here are some of our favourite spots to consider adding to your visit.
NR12 0AL
This county is famous for its stunning and expansive beaches, and any one you visit will be a winner. However, the one at Sea Palling has a special place in our hearts. It’s Katie’s main childhood beach and holds lots of fond memories for the both of us - most importantly, it’s where we got engaged ❤️
Keep your eyes out for the seals that love to relax on the sand or pop their heads out of the water!
NR12 7EE
Situated in Horstead, this pub is easily one of the best for food in the area. Make sure you bring an empty stomach, as the portions are massive - chances are you won’t have to consider dessert!
If you like woodfired pizzas and having a pint by the river, we also highly recommend a visit to their sister pub - The Rising Sun (NR12 7EA), which is further down the road towards Wroxham.
NR2 4AG
If you’re big old nerds like us (let's face it - you probably are) and love board games, we highly recommend a trip to this lovely café in the city. They have a vast range of games to play while you munch, and their super delicious menu is entirely vegan. A very welcoming and fun space.
This is considered by many to be the heart of the Norfolk Broads. This charming little village is the perfect place to hire a boat and explore the beautiful wildlife on the water. Make sure you visit the equally famous Roys Department Store (we recommend the white chocolate and raspberry muffins in the Food Hall)!
